How far will Duke go in the NCAA tournament?

Since UNC is a team clad with mostly inexperienced freshman, Duke is undoubtedly the "best" team in the ACC. But even with UNC was its normal self last year, it was always UNC and Duke that were the premier teams in this conference, which isn't necessarily strong. And as a Wake Forest alum, that's just the honest truth. Maryland may give Duke a run for the ACC championship, but I doubt it. It'd be nice to see my alma mater take it all, but once again.......yeah.

So last year, everybody thought Villanova was going to fall to Duke and that Duke would try to thwart UNC's chances at another national title. Well, we all know how that turned out. Villanova guarded well and forced Duke into jump shots, many of which they missed, while Villanova transferred their defense to offense at the other end of the court and were able to get any and everything they wanted.

Now that Purdue has lost Robbie Hummel and was handed a L by Michigan State, Duke has an opportunity to be a #1 seed. BUT--how far do you think Duke will go? A number one seed does not ensure a Final Four.|||Duke solely relies on the outside shot. Every game they have lost in the last 5 years is when they had a cold outside shooting game. The last big guy, and the furthest they went, was with Sheldon Williams. I don't get why this is not so obvious to Coach K. Duke can go all the way, but they must get the Plumlee's into the action. They need a big inside threat and it is NOT Zoubek - who is having a great season. Can you imagine the open looks the big Duke 3 would be getting if the Plumlees were averaging 15 - 18 per game (together). If Coach K wants a National Championship, he better start looking to his M %26amp; M's. If not, the first game where Duke shoots poorly from 3 point will be their exit.|||Champs!|||They will make it to at least the round of sweet sixteen|||final four|||sweet sixteen
